The open-source code GTC has been developed collaboratively by an international team with over 100 developers and users in the ITER partnership. It has been extensively utilized to simulate fusion experiments including DIII-D, NSTX-U, ITER, JET, EAST, KSTAR, HL-2A, MAST, ADITYA-U, & ST40 tokamaks, W7-X & LHD stellarators, and C2 field-reversed configuration in US, UK, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, and Korea.
